You complete the Application for Private Investigator, which includes a list of character references, a passport photo and a weapon endorsement (if applying for armed investigator). The Board will notify you within 30 days whether you have been approved to sit for the Private Investigator’s Examination. You must score a minimum of 70% on the exam to pass.
